Looks like Spencer and Heidi were wrong again.
After they predicted that Heidi's sister, Holly Montag, would win "I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!," Holly's jungle adventure came to an end Thursday night. "The Hills" co-star, (who joined the "Celeb" cast early last week to replace Speidi) and self-appointed "world's first supermodel" Janice Dickinson were the third and fourth players America voted off the show.
Despite her ultimate ouster, Holly proved herself a worthy contender on the series. Right off the bat, she was eager to compete in as many challenges as possible, even helping the women emerge victorious in her first Food Challenge. However, Holly's biggest claim to fame during her time in the jungle, aside from comparing Heidi to Velcro, was her friendship with "Idol" alum Sanjaya Malakar, a relationship Speidi referred to as [news id="1614166"]"Sanjolly."[/news] Despite the producers' best efforts to portray their interactions as a budding romance, Holly refuted those claims in her exit interview Thursday night, insisting that she and Sanjaya are "just really good friends." (Really good friends who give each other sensual massages, apparently.)
Before announcing the results live on the air, host Damien Fahey told the cast that only 1 percent of votes separated the bottom vote-getters. The tight-knit crew appeared genuinely upset to see Holly go, particularly a shellshocked Sanjaya. Reactions to troublemaker Janice Dickinson's eviction were much less emotional.
Six contestants remain in the final week of "Celebrity," and as Fahey declared last night, the competition is now every celebrity for him or herself. Lou Diamond Phillips and John Salley are already guaranteed spots in the June 25 finale, leaving Sanjaya, Patti Blagojevich, Torrie Wilson and Stephen Baldwin to fight for the remaining spots. Spencer and Heidi, as well as the other ex-cast members, are reportedly set to return to the show for the live finale.
