Rihanna And Chris Brown Attend NBA Game — Separately

Singers didn't sit together, contrary to earlier reports.

[artist id="1940303"]Rihanna[/artist] and [artist id="1961441"]Chris Brown[/artist] both attended Game Four of the NBA finals in Orlando, Florida, on Thursday night. But contrary to earlier reports that the pair would be attending the game together, the singers were seated separately.

Rihanna, there with a female friend, seemed in good spirits in the front row. Meanwhile, Brown was also sitting in the front row, but nowhere near his former girlfriend. Tiger Woods, Chris Tucker and Hulk Hogan also attended the game.

People cites an anonymous source as claiming that “they requested to sit together” to watch the Lakers face off against the Magic, but that by the time the game started the pair had decided to sit separately. An eyewitness said that at halftime they went to different private lounges.

Following their alleged altercation the weekend of the Grammy Awards, the couple briefly reconciled before breaking up again.

Rihanna has had a busy week. On Wednesday night, she hung with the Black Eyed Peas at their album-release party in New York for the group’s new disc, The E.N.D. In photos, she was seen smiling alongside Fergie and the rest of the Peas.

Earlier this week, Rihanna was subpoenaed to testify at a June 22 preliminary hearing in the case against Brown, where he is facing felony assault charges for allegedly assaulting the “Umbrella” singer in February. Brown has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
