Jadakiss Promises Surprise Guests At Summer Jam

Plus, our list of guest performers we'd most like to see at this Sunday's show.

This Sunday, if you miss [artist id="1163822"]Jadakiss[/artist] at the Hot 97 Summer Jam concert at New Jersey’s Giants Stadium, it’s on you. After years of getting an opening slot, Jadakiss says he’s going on much later in the show.

“They ain’t gonna make me go on before the people get there this year,” Jada recently told us. “That’s in the negotiations. ‘Don’t even call me if y’all ain’t trying to let me go on at a reasonable slot, man.’ ”

Jadakiss revealed the obvious: that he’s going to bring out a few cameo appearances.

“I always try to give one or two surprises,” he said. “I know they wanna see me. I just dropped a new [album, The Last Kiss], so I gotta keep the surprise guests to a minimum. I might give you [artist id="1875398"]Jazmine [Sullivan][/artist]. I might give you something nice and soft and something nice and hard. It’s gonna be a good look, though. I feel real good about his one this year.”

Jadakiss was also recently on Angie Martinez’s Hot 97 radio show and hinted that we may see [artist id="1325"]DMX[/artist]. “He’s real close. The Dog is around. He’s doing good. He’s chillin’ with family. You’ll see him in a minute.” DMX is also confirmed to be on Jada’s “Who’s Real” remix.

In anticipation of Summer Jam, we have a few dream choices for people we would like to see come out and touch that stage. These are not spoilers, just our imaginations running wild …
