on Sunday, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and the rapper had a feud
that played out in front of the MTV viewers at the 2002 Video Music Awards.
So who better than Triumph to comment on a more-or-less naked Brüno falling from the ceiling and landing on [artist id="502642"]Eminem[/artist], causing the rapper to leave the Gibson Amphitheatre. "I'm a legend," Triumph told MTV News. "And I sat on Eminem's face long before Brüno ever did."
But just because both Brüno and Triumph angered Eminem at an MTV awards show doesn't mean that Triumph is ready to start a feud with Brüno. "It's fine, because those days are over for me and Eminem," he said. "We're tight. We're tighter than Gloria Vanderbilt's a--."
For those of you who may not be familiar with the incident between Bruüno and Eminem to which Triumph is referring, here's the recap: When it was his turn to present the Golden Popcorn statue for Best Male Performance, Brüno descended via wires from the rafters dressed as a bizarre, S&M cross between an angel and a gladiator.
He then appeared to get caught up in his suspension wires, flipping upside down and crashing to the ground — upside-down and directly on top of Eminem, wrapping his legs around the rapper's head, exposing his bare buttocks within inches of Em's face.
