Chris Brown Says 'I Ain't A Monster' In New Video

Singer also plugs forthcoming album, 'Graffiti.'

Embattled R&B singer [artist id="1961441"]Chris Brown[/artist] has taken to the Web to comment briefly on his alleged altercation with [artist id="1940303"]Rihanna[/artist] and plug his forthcoming new album.

In a grainy YouTube video made with Bow Wow at NBA star Shaquille O'Neal's house, Brown addresses the camera for 30 seconds and ends his comments with a message to his fans, saying, "I ain't a monster."

"I don't do all this talking on the thing, this is just some new stuff I'm doing," Brown said, bending over and leaning into the camera. "I just wanna say 'what's up?,' because I ain't been out there in a minute. But the new album is gonna be coming soon. We working on it right now. It's called Graffiti. It's got everything on it, so y'all be ready for that. I'm about to drop a single this summer for y'all. We ain't going nowhere. Everybody that's haters, they just been haters. All my real fans, I love you. I ain't a monster."

Bow Wow, who appears in the background of the video, Tweeted about playing basketball with Brown, Chris Tucker and Shaq at the basketball player's home. The dispatch was posted on Twitter Tuesday night.

"Me c breezy shaq chris tucker bout to play ball at shaq house! Shaq in dis big ass semi truck! Dat sh-- crazy," the rapper wrote.

Brown is due back in a Los Angeles courtroom on Thursday. He did not appear at a [article id="1610271"]hearing late last month,[/article] where his attorney sought to have the case dismissed due to leaked photos and information about the case. Brown is facing felony assault charges and charges of making criminal threats after being arraigned in the case.
