Taylor Swift Says She 'Can't Believe' Fearless Is Still #1

'I spent two years making this album ... and putting everything into it,' singer says of Billboard sensation.

It's another week at #1 for [artist id="2389485"]Taylor Swift[/artist]. The singer, who released her smash album Fearless back in November, still "cannot believe" that she's sold over 2 million copies of the album. Next week marks her fifth in a row at the top of the Billboard albums chart.

"I cannot believe that!" the Female Pop MVP told MTV News last week about the album's stay at the top of the charts. "I get a phone call from my record-label president every single week, and he's just telling me something new like, 'You're not going to believe this but ... it's #1 again.' "

She said she owes all her success to the work she put into the record, saying, "I spent two years making this album ... and putting everything into it."

She added that she also owes a lot of the album's popularity to her fans, who "have been so good" to the pop star since she burst onto the scene. "The fact that people actually like it, I can't believe it."

The pace at which fans pick up the album probably won't slow down soon as Swift is about to release the video for her next single, "White Horse." For the video, Swift decided to try something new and got a bit emotional for it.

"This video is a lot different than the other videos that we've made, 'cause usually we've gone for bright colors and me looking straight to camera and singing," she told MTV News. "[This video is] a little more introspective.

"There's an emotional scene in there where I had to cry for, like, three hours ... bawl my eyes out for three hours," she added. "It was really interesting and sort of a new thing for me."
