Panic! At The Disco Announce First Headlining North American Tour

Dresden Dolls, OK Go, Hush Sound will support.

As they finish up their globe-trotting tour with the Academy Is …, Panic! At the Disco have announced the dates for their first headlining North American trek.

The two-month jaunt begins June 6 in Tucson, Arizona. The Dresden Dolls will support for a majority of the dates and OK Go will open the early part of the tour, but details on that are yet to be confirmed. The Hush Sound will be on board for the entire tour.

More dates are expected to be announced soon.

Panic hail from Las Vegas, home of the Killers, and are signed to Decaydance Records, which is run by Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz (see “Panic! At The Disco Fight For Cred, Swear They Have No Beef With The Killers” ). The band’s debut LP, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, recently passed the gold-sales mark, and the video for the album’s first single, “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” is lighting up small screens across the globe.

The band will finish up a tour of Japan with the Academy Is … next week before launching a European trek on April 18. The band will also appear at the Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey on May 7.
