Hard-rock space cadets Monster Magnet will release a new album,

Powertrip, on June 16. The 13-track effort continues the

apocalyptic/outer-space journey of its predecessors, Superjudge (1993)

and Dopes to Infinity (1995), with head-banging songs such as "Crop

Circle," "Space Lord," "Tractor," "Atomic Lock," "3rd Eye Landslide" and "See

You In Hell." The album was co-produced by singer Dave Wyndorf and

Matt Hyde (Porno for Pyros).
