Hilary Duff Lines Up 32 Summer Dates

Singer/actress' tour kicks off July 12 in Los Angeles.

Hilary Duff’s still-untitled next album — expected to be a collection of hits plus four new tracks — is due sometime this August, but before then the tween queen will embark on a 32-gig road trek that’s set to kick off July 12 at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, according to the actress/pop star’s Web site.

Duff’s nationwide arena tour will also hit a hodgepodge of different state and county fairs along the way. The trek is set to wrap up on September 25 at the Western Washington Fair in Puyallup, Washington.

The summer of 2005 is going to be a busy one for Duff, who’s perhaps best known for her acting work, but has also created a successful music career for herself. The blond beauty has released a pair of hit records through Disney-owned Hollywood Records: 2003′s Metamorphosis, which has sold close to 3.7 million copies to date, and Duff’s 2004 self-titled sophomore disc, which recently surpassed the 1.5 million sold mark.

Beginning June 17, fans can catch Duff in the feature “The Perfect Man,” playing one of two scheming daughters who set out to find a new guy for their recently divorced mother, portrayed by Heather Locklear (see “Wanna See Hilary Duff Act Like A Bitch? Here’s Your Chance” ). Duff is currently shooting “Material Girls” with sister Haylie (see “Can’t Get Enough Of The Duffs? Just Wait” ).
