'80s Metal Rocks Hard

Harking back to the late '80s salad days of MTV when spandex

and teased hair were all the rage, Hard Rock Cafe: '80s Heavy

Metal (April 21) will take fans back to the days when such

hits as Great White's "Once Bitten Twice Shy,"

Poison's "Nothin' But a Good Time," Twisted Sister's

"We're Not Gonna Take It" and Lita Ford's "Kiss Me Deadly"

were top-10 hits. Also included on the collection are tracks by

Judas Priest, David Lee Roth, Winger,

Ratt and Krokus. A companion album,

Hard Rock Cafe: Surf, will feature surf-rock hits from

the likes of the Beach Boys ("Surfin' U.S.A."), the

Ventures ("Hawaii Five-O") and Dick Dale & The Del-Tones

("Miserlou").
