American Idols Live Tour Dates Announced

Trek kicks off July 12 in Sunrise, Florida, and runs through September 10.

Whether Vonzell Solomon wins "American Idol" or not, she can expect to be an audience favorite when the Pop Tarts Presents American Idols Live tour kicks off July 12.

The outing is opening in Sunrise, Florida, home state of Solomon, as well as Jessica Sierra and Nadia Turner. The trek then hits Tampa, Florida, and Birmingham, Alabama, near Bo Bice's hometown of Helena.

By the second week, the American Idols Live tour will visit Pennsylvania and New Jersey, home states of Anthony Fedorov and Anwar Robinson, respectively.

"I always dreamed of [performing at Continental Airlines Arena] but never imagined it would come to fruition," Robinson said after being eliminated last week.

The fourth annual Idols Live trek will hit 41 cities before wrapping up September 10 in Syracuse, New York.

Carrie Underwood, Constantine Maroulis, Scott Savol and Nikko Smith will also be on the tour, which will feature individual and ensemble performances. As in past years, the first two eliminated singers from the final 12 (in this case, Lindsey Cardinale and Mikalah Gordon) will not be on the bill.

Tickets go on sale May 21, but a pre-sale begins May 18 at www.poptarts.com.

Along with hitting the road together, the "Idol" finalists are also hitting the record stores. Their group CD, Showstoppers, is due May 17.
