Destiny's Child's Tour Bus Likely To Smell Like Fries
For months, people have been buzzing about a rumored Destiny's Child world tour. Well, buzz no longer, because the R&B supergirls have announced the first batch of dates, and they're bringing Big Macs.
The McDonald's-sponsored Destiny Fulfilled ... And Lovin' It Tour kicks off April 9 in Hiroshima, Japan, and hits 14 countries in Asia, Australia and Europe. The North American leg of the tour begins in July and will make stops in 44 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Though exact dates and cities have yet to be announced, it was announced that the final stop of the tour will be in Honolulu in September.
As part of a deal Destiny's Child inked with the fast-food chain in October, the group will hit up McDonald's restaurants along the way, "[meeting] with McDonald's crew and managers to celebrate the tour stops in each country," according to a press release. They'll also be featured in special restaurant promotions.
Beyoncé, in a statement, said fans can look forward to seeing Destiny's Child in TV commercials and acting as global ambassadors for World Children's Day.
