Fabolous Takes Aim At Drug-Dealing And Police Brutality On Real Talk

First single, 'Breathe,' is climbing the charts.

This is the true story of Fabolous, the Brooklyn MC who's ready to stop being polite and start getting real. No, Fabolous is not joining the cast of "The Real World." The rapper is, however, offering some Real Talk.

Out Tuesday (November 9), Real Talk serves as the follow-up to Street Dreams. Thanks to the lead single, "Breathe," the album is already turning heads. The club banger, produced by Just Blaze, is quickly climbing up the charts (see [article id="1490553"]"Fabolous Breathes Easy With Lil Jon, Sean Paul, Lil' Mo On His LP"[/article]).

The album also features production from Scott Storch, DJ Khaled, Flame Throwers, Reefa, and Tone and Poke, among others. Frequent Fab collaborators the Neptunes contributed two tracks to the album -- the sexually charged "Tit 4 Tat" and "Young & Sexy" -- both of which feature Pharrell.

Fabolous gets conscious on Real Talk. On "Can You Hear Me," Fab shows listeners the dark side of the drug game, chronicling the ways that dealing can affect so many lives.

Meanwhile, guest artists Paul Cain and Nate Dogg team with Fab to take aim at police brutality on "Po Po." On the J.R.-produced track, Fabolous spits: "That's keepin' them sirens flashin' on my ass/ Should I get ta pumpin' the brakes or mashin' on the gas/ I'm nationally harassed/ And it feels like I'm getting punk'd, but I don't see Ashton in the grass."

Other guest artists include Sean Paul, "Chappelle's Show" comedian Charlie Murphy, Fab protégé Mike Shorey, and Lil' Mo, with whom the rapper has collaborated before.
