On Saturday 50 Cent had a slew of vehicles entered in Funkmaster Flex's celebrity car show in Hartford, Connecticut, but he took a little time to bring his vehicles to the 'hood as well.
50, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and other members of the G-Unit family hit the streets in a fleet of luxury cars that included a Maybach Benz, a Bentley, two Rolls-Royce Phantoms and two Lamborghinis.
The rapper also stopped at a Footlocker on 125th Street in Harlem, and as fans swarmed him and his crew, 50 brought around 30 kids inside and treated them each to a pair of his new Reebok G-Unit boots. The human headline magnet obviously was in the mood to spend during the weekend, because he also stopped in his old stomping grounds of Queens at the Coliseum Mall and bought his whole crew clothes. Witnesses said they even saw the G-Unit cavalcade in Brooklyn as well.
50 and at least one other member of the G-Unit will be out in California soon, where there are plans to shoot a video for Game's single "This Is How We Do" (see "Game Ready To Prove He's Worthy Of The Hype"). The track is produced by Dr. Dre and features guest rhymes by 50.
