Britney Spears is now officially a married woman.
The pop star made her union with Kevin Federline legal on Thursday when the pair filed the necessary documents to formalize their marriage.
"All the proper paperwork was dealt with today, filed, done," Spears' publicist Leslie Sloane told Reuters. "It's all legal."
Though Spears and Federline exchanged wedding vows at a secret ceremony in a Studio City, California, home last month (see "Britney Spears Marries Kevin Federline"), the union was not considered legal as they had not yet filed a marriage license (see "Britney Spears And Kevin Federline Admit They're Not Legally Wed"), which California law requires them to do within 90 days of the ceremony.
