British MC allegedly assaulted an individual in a London restaurant last month.

Ms. Dynamite has been arrested on allegations of assault in a London restaurant.

The British rapper (real name: Niomi McLean-Daley) was arrested and released on bail after turning herself in at a London police station last week on claims that she assaulted an individual at a restaurant in the city's Soho district last month.

A spokesperson for the city's Metropolitan Police Station said that a 23-year-old woman voluntarily turned herself in at a central London police station on Friday following an allegation of assault at a location on Wardour Street September 17.

Dynamite, who was awarded the Mercury Music Prize for her 2002 debut album, A Little Deeper, and has also won two Brit Awards and three MOBOs (Music of Black Origin), is scheduled to return to a central London police station in November.
