Still under a doctor's care for a kidney infection, Jessica Simpson has canceled another performance.
After scrapping her Providence, Rhode Island, concert on Tuesday (see "Kidney Infection Forces Jessica Simpson To Cancel Show"), Simpson was scheduled to take the stage at the Verizon Wireless Arena Wednesday evening in Manchester, New Hampshire, but according to a spokesperson from Columbia Records, doctor's orders kept her from performing.
Simpson issued a statement saying, "Performing live onstage is my favorite part of being a singer and I'm having the best time on this tour. I love seeing my fans up close and personal and can't wait until the doctor says it's OK for me to get back out there. Thanks to everyone for their get-well wishes."
The pop star, who has been under a doctor's care for the past 48 hours, plans to resume her tour on Friday at the DTE Energy Music Theatre, just outside of Detroit in Clarkston, Michigan. She also expects to reschedule the canceled dates.
Simpson's 45-city Jessica Simpson Reality Tour, promoting her most recent release, In This Skin, is scheduled to run through August 1 at the Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles, California.
