Incubus Announce Dates For North American Tour

Lengthy trek begins June 24 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

After trekking through three continents, Incubus will return Stateside for their first North American tour in support of A Crow Left of the Murder.

The tour is scheduled to begin June 24 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and encompass more than 60 dates before wrapping up October 11 in Richmond, Virginia, according to the band's publicist. Additional dates are expected.

Incubus kick off their world tour March 3 at the legendary Budokan in Tokyo. Seven more dates in Asia follow before singer Brandon Boyd and company head south to Australia and New Zealand. A monthlong stint in Europe — beginning in Germany on April 12 and including a set at the Rock in Rio-Lisbon festival in Portugal — immediately precedes the band's domestic return.

The band plans to continue its series of official bootlegs, which benefit Incubus' Make Yourself Foundation (see "Incubus Get Charitable With Series Of Official Bootlegs"). "I think what we're going to do is just record every show," Boyd said at a press conference Thursday, "and then when one kind of sounds better than the rest, then we'll do a little mix on it, package it and send it out. We're planning on doing a few of those of the course of the next year."

Boosted by the single "Megalomaniac," Incubus' fifth album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart earlier this month. After three weeks in stores, the LP has sold more than 522,000 copies.
