If singer Omarion was worried about life after boy bands following his

recent split from B2K, this weekend's box-office tally should ease his

mind. The $8 million urban dance drama "You Got Served," which co-stars

Omarion and his former bandmates, was the surprise winner in the box-office race with grosses of $16 million, according to studio estimates,

"Served" fans didn't seem too preoccupied with Super Bowl party plans

to check out the flick about rival Los Angeles street-dance crews, but

the rest of the top 10 saw a significant drop from last week's numbers.

Jennifer Aniston and Ben Stiller maintained their grip on the

#2 spot with "Along Came Polly," which took in an estimated $10.1

million in its third week for a to-date total of $66.7 million.

Meanwhile, Ashton Kutcher's time-travel drama, "The Butterfly Effect,"

slipped two spots to #3 on grosses of $10 million.

The week's two new releases both limped onto the charts. SAT caper "The

Perfect Score," starring Scarlett Johansson ("Lost in Translation"), landed at #5 with a $5 million take ([article id="1484570"]Click for photos from "The Perfect Score"[/article]), while "The Big Bounce," starring Owen

Wilson, finished outside the top 10 at #12 on an estimated $3.3 million.

Although the Golden Globe winners and Oscar nominations were announced

last week, few of the recognized films saw a major box-office bounce.

Oscar favorite "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" scored 11 nominations, which helped it climb one spot to #4 on grosses of $5.3

million. With an accumulated domestic total of $345 million, the final

installment of Peter Jackson's fantasy series has become the trilogy's

highest-grossing episode, as well as the highest-grossing movie

released in 2003, surpassing "Finding Nemo" ($339.7 million).

The Nicole Kidman/ Jude Law Civil War drama "Cold Mountain" was shut out

of the major Globes categories yet picked up seven Academy Award

nominations as it held steady at #7 with $4.5 million, tying with "Win

a Date with Tad Hamilton!"

"Mystic River," nominated for six Academy Awards and winner of a Best

Actor Golden Globe for Sean Penn, moved up a spot to #9 on grosses of

$4.4 million, a 31 percent jump from last week. Moving into an

additional 338 theaters, the well-reviewed Charlize Theron

serial-killer drama, "Monster," climbed to its highest position yet at

#11 on grosses of $3.5 million.

Rounding out the top 10 are "Big Fish" at #6 with $4.6 million and "Cheaper by the Dozen" at #10 with $4.1 million.

During a typically slow period, the top 12 movies grossed $75 million,

a six percent slip from last year's Super Bowl weekend.
