Gellar, Prinze Return In Exclusive 'Scooby-Doo 2' Sneak Peek

Animated sequel due in theaters March 26.

If you're a Scooby-Doo fan — or just someone who likes to see Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. in polyester — it's going to be a good day.

The crew that made 2002's "Scooby-Doo" has piled back into the Mystery Machine for a return to the big screen, and they've offered a sneak peek of their latest adventure.

Raja Gosnell — the man who helmed the first "Scooby-Doo" flick and delivered a tidy little hit in the process — returns, as do original stars Prinze, Gellar, Matthew Lillard and Linda Cardellini. Once again the Scooby gang finds itself kneesocks-deep in mystery and general creepiness, but this time out Alicia Silverstone, Seth Green and Peter Boyle are in the mix as well.

A requisite "anonymous villain" is onboard once again, this time plotting to rule Coolsville with the aid of a machine that cranks out monsters like the Pterodactyl Ghost, the Black Knight Ghost, the 10,000 Volt Ghost and others plucked from classic Scooby cartoons. In addition to the parade of monsters, the gang — a.k.a. Mystery Inc. — finds itself wrestling with a certain level of newfound fame, courtesy of its sleuthing prowess.

Green helps out Scoob and the gang as a museum curator, while Silverstone keeps a close eye on Fred, Daphne, Shaggy and Velma as a relentless reporter. "American Idol" Ruben Studdard also stops in for a cameo.

Once again, Scooby's antics come courtesy of extensive CGI animation. With an effects-heavy post-production process ahead, the film is a long way from wrapping up. It won't hit theaters until March 26, but you can get a first look at

"Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed" here in high bandwidth, medium bandwidth, and low bandwidth formats.
