Ja Rule To Drop Blood In My Eye LP In November

Rapper still hasn't chosen first single.

Two weeks after Ja Rule's new track, now officially titled "Crown," hit the streets, particulars about his next project are still scarce. Def Jam has, however, revealed two major details: The release date is set for November 4, and the record, which was originally slated to be an EP, has been expanded into a full-length LP.

Ja's representatives say the album will be named Blood in My Eye, which is a tribute to one of Rule's favorite books, a tome of the same name by activist George L. Jackson. Jackson was killed in San Quentin State Prison in 1971, a few days after he finished writing the book.

Rule still hasn't picked his first single, but two cuts are in the running, according to his label: the aforementioned "Crown" (see "Ja Disses Detractors, Feds And Jacksons On EP's Likely First Single") and another track called "Clap Back."
