Dave Matthews, Talib Kweli, Bob Dylan Set For Bonnaroo Festival NE

X-ecutioners, Tom Petty, Yo La Tengo also slated to perform at Riverhead, New York, fest.

After last year's successful inaugural show in Tennessee, one Bonnaroo festival this summer just wasn't enough.

Organizers have assembled a second three-day festival, this time in the Northeast. Headlining are the Dead, Dave Matthews with guitarist Tim Reynolds, Bob Dylan, and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, according to a festival spokesperson. The camping and music festival will take place in Enterprise Park in Riverhead, New York, August 8-10.

Other acts rounding out the eclectic lineup include the String Cheese Incident, Ween, Gov't Mule, moe., Les Claypool's Frog Brigade, Medeski Martin & Wood, Yo La Tengo, Talib Kweli, Disco Biscuits, Grandaddy, X-ecutioners and Kings of Leon. Other artists from the worlds of rock, funk, pop, hip-hop, jazz and techno are expected to be added to the roster.

Bonnaroo made its debut last June in Manchester, Tennessee, with an array of performers including Widespread Panic, Norah Jones, Ben Harper, and Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio. The event also offered non-music activities in its festival village, such as a retro arcade tent, 24-hour cinema tent and cyber cafe, and organizers are promising something similar for both Bonnaroo NE and the festival's return to Manchester on June 21-23.

This year's Tennessee show will feature Neil Young, the Flaming Lips, the Roots and Polyphonic Spree, among others.
