Dave Matthews Band Seek To Take Over North America (Again) This Summer

Most concert tickets for general public to go on sale March 29.

Dave Matthews Band took in more money for touring last year than any other band, raking in $54.8 million in sales, and for good reason. The perennial road warriors are summer concert staples, lining up and selling out major tours nearly every year.  This summer looks to be no different.

The band will launch a 54-date road trip beginning June 17 in Columbus, Ohio. The itinerary, released Wednesday (March 5) on the band's Web site, includes many two-night stands in markets like Cleveland, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, San Francisco, Seattle and New York, among others. The trek stretches until an Atlanta stop on September 20.

Tickets will be available for DMB fans through Warehouse, the band's official fan club, beginning Thursday, while tickets will go on sale to the public for most shows on March 29, with several of the later dates going on sale April 5.

Later this month, Dave Matthews begins an acoustic tour with road buddy Tim Reynolds (see "Dave Matthews, Tim Reynolds Plan Unplugged Tour"). That trek will hit East Coast cities and college campuses before calling it quits in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in early April.
