You Predicted, You Lost: Favorites Eminem, Avril Lose Out At Grammys

What, you never heard of Norah Jones?

Remind us to never, ever take you to Vegas. We asked for your Grammy predictions, and you called a big night for Eminem and Avril Lavigne (what, you never heard of Norah Jones?). Anyway, you nailed two out of seven categories — not bad, but not odds we're willing to take to the bank ...

Album of the Year

YOUR PREDICTION: Eminem, The Eminem Show

WINNER: Norah Jones, Come Away With Me

You thought Em's The Eminem Show was a shoe-in for Album of the Year. Fifty-seven percent of you had your money on Em, while only nine percent of you thought that Jones would win.

Record of the Year

YOUR PREDICTION: Eminem, "Without Me"

WINNER: Norah Jones, "Don't Know Why"

A whopping 41 percent of you thought that the Record of the Year statuette would wind up going back to Detroit with Eminem. Instead, Jones added it to her ever-mounting Grammy stash.

Song of the Year

YOUR PREDICTION: Avril Lavigne, "Complicated"

WINNER: Norah Jones, "Don't Know Why"

More than half of you (56 percent) thought Avril's "Complicated" was a lock for Song of the Year. Fortunately, 16 percent of you put your money on Jones.

Best New Artist

YOUR PREDICTION: Avril Lavigne

WINNER: Norah Jones

This one must have knocked your socks off. Only 10 percent of you thought Norah Jones would walk away with this one, as opposed to the 40 percent of you who voted for Avril.

Best Hard Rock Performance

YOUR PREDICTION: P.O.D., "Youth of the Nation"

WINNER: Foo Fighters, "All My Life"

P.O.D. may have gotten your vote, but Grammy voters saw things a little differently. While some 46 percent of you thought P.O.D. would win, the Foo Fighters (selected by 24 percent of you) went home with the award.

Best Rap/Sung Collaboration

YOUR PREDICTION: Nelly featuring Kelly Rowland, "Dilemma"

WINNER: Nelly featuring Kelly Rowland, "Dilemma"

Now you're getting the hang of it. More than half of you (57 percent) managed to cash in by taking Nelly and Kelly in this category (it probably didn't hurt that Norah wasn't nominated here).

Best Rap Album

YOUR PREDICTION: Eminem, The Eminem Show

WINNER: Eminem, The Eminem Show

Finally, a slam dunk. Seventy percent of you thought Em would nail this one, and obviously Grammy voters agreed. Hopefully, you went double or nothing to win back some of the ground you lost on your other Grammy bets.
