Foxy Brown Battles An 'Ill' Fever, Performs With Anita Baker On New LP

N.O.R.E., Ludacris, Cash Money’s Baby will appear on rapper’s fourth album.

The Ill Na Na is ready to get iller. In fact, this time around rapper Foxy Brown is running a temperature.

Her upcoming fourth album, Ill Na Na 2— The Fever, is set for release in May on her own Ill Na Na Entertainment/Def Jam imprint. The LP will feature appearances by fellow Def Jammers N.O.R.E. and Ludacris, as well as Baby from Cash Money, Loon, producer Jazze Pha, Outkast's Big Boi and even classic soul singer Anita Baker.

It’s been over six years since Brown dropped her debut and two years since her most recent Broken Silence In her off period, she palled around with Sean "P. Diddy" Combs (who worked with Foxy on material that may or may not end up on Ill Na Na 2) (see "P. Diddy In Director’s Chair For Foxy Brown’s Ill Na Na 2"), made numerous mixtape appearances and even sparked a lyrical beef with fellow female rapper Eve.

Foxy's first single from Ill Na Na 2, "I Need a Man," was produced by 7 Aurelius.
