J. Lo's Movie Production Company Bets On 'Double Or Nothing'

Film is about two female cops who team up to solve a murder.

There's no stopping Jennifer Lopez, who continues to exert a firm grip over both the music and movie industries.

She's got the #1 Billboard Hot 100 single with "All I Have," featuring LL Cool J, and she's just signed on to co-produce her first Hollywood film, "Double or Nothing."

J. Lo's Nuyorican Productions will handle the project for New Line Cinema. The screenplay, penned by April Blair, tells the story of two female cops who come together to solve the murder of a male police officer both used to date, Lopez's film publicist said. The director and cast have yet to be chosen.

In addition to "Double or Nothing," Lopez has a number of acting projects lined up, including "An Unfinished Life," "Shrink," "Carmen" and "Dirty Girls" (see "J. Lo To Work With 'Cider House' Director On Next Film").
