Method Man To Star In Crime Thriller With Vince Vaughn

'Other Side of Simple' also stars Hayden Christensen, Don Cheadle, Shannyn Sossamon.

Method Man is rolling with a posse, but this time the RZA, the GZA and Redman are nowhere in sight.

The self-proclaimed Ticallion Stallion has joined Hayden Christensen, Vince Vaughn, Don Cheadle and Shannyn Sossamon in the ensemble cast of "The Other Side of Simple," an upcoming crime thriller from New Line Cinema and "Money Train" director Joseph Ruben.

Meth will trade in the happy-go-lucky stoner he played in last year's "How High" for the role of a gang leader undoubtedly more similar to the hoodlum he played in 1997's "Cop Land" with Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro. Vaughn and Cheadle will play two thieves who've been pals since high school.

Christensen ("Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones") has signed on to play Vaughn's seemingly slow-witted younger brother who is left to be caught after the trio botch a robbery. Ten years later, Vaughn and Cheadle's characters return to their Midwestern hometown and conspire to use their former partner as the fall guy in another scheme, but Christensen's character may not be as simpleminded as he seems.

"The Other Side of Simple" begins shooting January 20 and is expected to hit theaters next year.
