Kid Rock, Chuck D and Grandmaster Flash will honor the late Jam Master Jay in a tribute at the VH1 Big in 2002 Awards in Los Angeles next month.

The ceremony will also include a Lifetime Achievement Award presentation to Run-DMC, the groundbreaking hip-hop group that hung up its hats after Jay was murdered on October 30 (see "Jam Master Jay, Run-DMC DJ, Killed In Shooting").

Christina Aguilera, Bon Jovi, Norah Jones and John Mayer will perform at the event, which will tape December 4 at the Grand Olympic Auditorium and air on VH1 on December 15 (see "Christina Aguilera, Bon Jovi To Perform At VH1 Big In 2002 Awards").

Michael Imperioli and Drea de Matteo, who play Christopher and Adrianna on "The Sopranos," will host the show, which will award music, movie and TV stars.

Big in 2002 Awards categories include Can't Get You Out of My Head for the year's most ubiquitous song, Do I Look Fat in This Fight? for girls who kick ass and Been Caught Scene Stealin' for the year's most unexpected stand-out movie performance.
