Robbie Williams To Perform At MTV Europe Music Awards

Singer will debut "Feel," the first single off his upcoming album Escapology at the November 14 ceremony.

Before Justin Timberlake went solo and Nick Carter decided to do his own thing, Robbie Williams stepped out of the shadow of Take That and into global pop solo stardom.

That wattage will be on display on November 14 when Williams will take the stage at the 2002 MTV Europe Music Awards in Barcelona, Spain as the first performer confirmed to perform at the ceremony.

Williams will use his EMA performance to debut “Feel,” the first single from his upcoming album Escapology, which hits stores in Europe on November 18.

Williams has become a staple at the event — now entering its ninth year — having notched 10 nominations, three wins, three performances, and one stint as host since launching his solo career in 1996.

This year’s nominees, as well as additional performers, are expected to be announced soon.

The event will be broadcast live from the Palau Sant Jordi, Barcelona on Thursday, November 14 on MTV Europe.
