Eve, Alicia Keys Team Up For Some 'Gangsta Love'

Songstress appears on first single from Eve's new LP, Eve-olution.

Eve and Alicia Keys have paired up in song once again. The duo, who appeared on the remix to Angie Stone's "Brotha," have collaborated for "Gangsta Love," the first single off of Eve's third LP, Eve-olution. The track has already garnered some radio airplay.

The album, due out in August, features production by Irv Gotti, 7, Dr. Dre and the Trackmasters, according to the rapper's spokesperson.

"Eve-olution just describes who I am right now and where I see myself going," the first lady of Ruff Ryders said in a statement. "I am truly growing in so many aspects of my career that I feel like the album should speak to that" (see "Eve Feelin' The Pressure As She Begins Work On Third LP").

The LP is just one of many projects Eve will be pushing this summer and fall. She'll also be debuting her new clothing line, called Fetish, in August at the Magic Clothing Convention in Las Vegas, and will play a small part as Vin Diesel's best friend and business partner in the movie "XXX" that month as well (see "Eve Cast In Ice Cube Comedy, Wraps Up Vin Diesel Action Flick").

If you still haven't had your fill of the female lyrical gladiator, she has a much meatier role as a hair stylist in "Barbershop," which stars Ice Cube and Cedric "The Entertainer." That film is due in September (see "Eve To Star In Ice Cube's Next Flick").
