Ludacris Tapped To Star In 'Radio' Flick

MC drawing on DJ roots to play girlfriend-juggling radio personality.

No more linking up with ladies in different area codes for Ludacris — he'll narrow down his skirt-chasing to one city and two women as the star of Gary Hardwick's "Radio," according to Def Jam Records.

In the film, Ludacris will play a radio personality who is having a hard time deciding which of his two girlfriends he should settle down with.

Ludacris, who went by the name of Chris Lova Lova as a radio DJ on Atlanta's Hot 97 before his rap career took off, will begin work on the film this June.

The movie's location is still being finalized. Hardwick's previous credits include last year's "The Brothers."

Before film rolls on "Radio," Ludacris will go in front of the cameras for his next video, "Move B***h," with guest star Mystikal. The shoot is tentatively scheduled to take place in Atlanta on May 15.

Last year, the MC had a cameo appearance in "The Wash." He's signed on for a handful of small roles in upcoming flicks, his rep said.

Ludacris is currently featured on the Usher remix of "U Don't Have to Call" and is now splitting time between doing shows and working on the Disturbing Tha Peace label compilation, which drops this summer.
