NEW YORK While his The Best of Both Worlds album partner, R. Kelly, is at the center of a police investigation over alleged sexual misconduct (see "R. Kelly Proclaims Innocence In Teen Sex Scandal"), Jay-Z is keeping his poker face.
"We're entertainers, man," Jay said Thursday in New York. "[My] new album coming out in November is [called] The Gift and the Curse. We accept the good with the bad. It is what it is."
Jay, who took time out from a fashion show for his Roc-A-Wear clothing line, said Kelly is in good spirits. "He's cool," Jay said, "it's the gift and the curse."
The Best of Both Worlds is still scheduled to be released on March 26 (see "Jay-Z, R. Kelly Hype Joint LP With Hash Browns, Johnnie Cochran And A Pimp"). The duo has yet to shoot a video for the first single.
