Eminem, Dre Polishing Up Eminem Show

Slim Shady's latest due in April.

Eminem hasn't had time to get in trouble lately — he's trying to focus. The Shady one is close to finishing production on his third LP, The Eminem Show, with Dr. Dre.

The rapper, who produced the track "Renegade" on Jay-Z's The Blueprint, split the beat-helming duties with Dre on the album, which is due in April.

Guests and a lead single have not been announced, though you may have already heard an Eminem Show track, or at least part of it. The song "Cleaning Out My Closet" is featured in trailers for the rapper's upcoming movie, "8 Mile" (see "Eminem's Movie Title Splits Detroit In Two").

"I'm sorry mama/ I never meant to hurt you/ I never meant to make you cry/ But tonight I'm cleaning out my closet," Eminem says on the track.

"8 Mile" is tentatively set to hit theaters on July 12, and a soundtrack album on Slim's own Shady Records will be released in time to coincide with its opening.
