R. Kelly, Sheryl Crow, Sugar Ray To Play For The NFL

Football fans will hear pop stars during halftime at conference championships, Pro Bowl.

Sheryl Crow, R. Kelly, Jessica Simpson and Sugar Ray will be performing for the same fans in the coming weeks as the added entertainment at professional football games.

Crow will perform during halftime at the AFC Conference Championship game on Sunday in Pittsburgh, while Kelly will perform during halftime at the NFC Conference Championship game later that day in St. Louis, a spokesperson for the National Football League said Wednesday (January 23).

The AFC game pairs the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Philadelphia Eagles will play the St. Louis Rams in the NFC game.

Simpson will sing the national anthem at the Pro Bowl in Honolulu on February 9, while Sugar Ray will perform during the all-star game's halftime ceremony.

U2, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Marc Anthony, Paul McCartney, No Doubt and Barenaked Ladies are lined up as entertainment for Super Bowl XXXVI on February 3 (see "No Doubt, McCartney, BNL Make Super Bowl More Super").
