Alicia Keys, John Mellencamp and Lenny Kravitz are among the performers for the 2001 VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards, taking place October 19 in New York.
VH1 will tape the seventh annual awards show at the Hammerstein Ballroom and air the two-hour event October 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, according to a network spokesperson.
Slated to appear on the show as either presenters or special guests are Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, No Doubt's Gwen Stefani, Courtney Love, Dylan McDermott ("The Practice"), Salma Hayek, Angie Harmon ("Law & Order"), Lil' Kim, Renee Zellweger, Christian Slater, supermodel Gisele, Enrique Iglesias, Chris Noth ("Sex and the City"), Kathy Griffin, Nelly Furtado, New York Giants' Jason Sehorn, and Josh Hartnett.
Categories for the 2001 VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards include Sharply Dressed Man, Stylish Group, Rock Revolutionary, Model of the Year, Female Artist, Designer of the Year, Rebel Designer of the Year, Red Carpet Award, Best Dressed Television Show, Leading Man and Glamorous Newcomer.
Nominees for the category of Visionary Video were selected by visitors to vh1.com. Among those forward-thinkers who'll put their clip to the test will be U2 ("Beautiful Day"), Radiohead ("Knives Out"), Fatboy Slim ("Weapon of Choice"), Aerosmith ("Jaded"), Everclear ("AM Radio"), Moby featuring Gwen Stefani ("South Side") and the Dave Matthews Band ("I Did It").
