Static-X Join Family Values Tour As Itinerary Shapes Up

Tickets for 10 shows on sale via roadshow's Web site.

Static-X and Deadsy will join Stone Temple Pilots, Staind and Linkin Park in bringing Family Values to North American arenas this fall.

Dates have been trickling in for the third edition of the rap-rock trek, which took the year off in 2000 due to heavy competition.

While previous lineups have featured a fairly balanced mix of rock, rap and hybrid acts, this year's bill is more rock-centric. Headliners STP, the old-timers of the bunch, released their fifth album, Shangri-La Dee Da, in June. Staind will be supporting Break the Cycle, while Linkin Park are still working Hybrid Theory and Static-X are supporting Machine.

Deadsy, fronted by Exeter Blue I (a.k.a. Elijah Blue, son of Cher and Gregg Allman), will release their second album next year on Korn's Elementree imprint in association with DreamWorks. Korn frontman Jonathan Davis appears on one track (see "Korn's Jonathan Davis Sings On Deadsy Track"). Spike 1000 will open select dates.
