Russell Crowe Tours U.S. With Grunts

Roots-rocking 30 Odd Foot of Grunts' Bastard Life of Clarity to be released here in September.

Russell Crowe already has an Oscar. Now, he'll be eligible for a Grammy, too. The actor's band, 30 Odd Foot of Grunts, will see the U.S. release of their album, Bastard Life or Clarity, in September.

The roots rockers' album, which has been available only in Australia and on the band's Web site (www.gruntland.com), will hit stores September 18, while the single "Sail Those Same Oceans" has already gone to radio, according to the band's label. Crowe handles vocals and rhythm guitar; the rest of the band consists of Garth Adam (bass), Dean Cochran (lead guitar), Dave Kelly (drums), Stewart Kirwan (trumpet, vocals) and Dave Wilkins (guitar, vocals).
