Slipknot Set 'Left Behind' As First Iowa Single, Video

Masked men to film clip in Los Angeles during break from Ozzfest.

Slipknot are scheduled to shoot a video for "Left Behind," the first single off their new album, Iowa, on August 1 and 2 in Los Angeles.

The group will take a break from Ozzfest to shoot the clip, which will be directed by David Meyers (Outkast, Creed, Kid Rock), according to Slipknot's publicist.

Details on the treatment were not disclosed. The song is being shipped to radio this week.

Iowa is slated for release on August 28. For turntable-friendly maggots (as the band's fans are known), the vinyl version, which spreads the album's 14 tracks across two records, will include a poster exclusive to its gatefold package.
