Shaquille O'Neal, Allen Iverson and their teammates won't be the only stars worth checking out during the NBA finals. U2, Destiny's Child and Sugar Ray are set to perform at halftime during three games of the Los Angeles Lakers/Philadelphia 76ers championship series.
NBC will broadcast a live satellite feed of U2 playing "Elevation" at Boston's FleetCenter between halves of game one of the best-of-seven series Wednesday (June 6), according to an NBA spokesperson.
Unlike U2, Destiny's Child will actually take to the court at the First Union Center in Philadelphia during halftime of game four on June 13. Sugar Ray will do the same during June 15's game five, unless the Lakers undefeated in playoff games so far sweep the series in four.
