Just in time for their Wotapalava festival tour, Pet Shop Boys will reissue five of their studio albums with full-length bonus CDs of remixes, alternate versions and unreleased material.
Each of the July 3 reissues Please (1986), Actually (1987), Introspective (1988), Behavior (1990) and Very (1993) will include a disc titled Further Listening and a 36-page booklet with lyrics and descriptions of every song by Pet Shop Boys Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe. Bonus tracks include the Introspective-era "Nothing Has Been Proved" and "So Sorry, I Said," unreleased demos of tunes later recorded by Dusty Springfield and Liza Minnelli, respectively. The Very bonus disc features a live version of Blur's "Girls and Boys."
With a new studio album in the works for 2002, Pet Shop Boys will embark on the gay-themed Wotapalava tour on July 13 with Rufus Wainwright, the Magnetic Fields and others (see [article id="1444042"]"Sinead O'Connor, Pet Shop Boys Tour In Wotapalava Festival"[/article]). Sinéad O'Connor dropped out of the tour days after it was announced, citing family commitments.
