Eagles Set One U.S. Date This Year, In Dallas In July

The band, playing nearly two-month tour of Europe, may add more Stateside concerts later, spokesperson says.

After the Eagles complete a nearly two-month tour of Europe, the band will play its only currently scheduled U.S. date in 2001 — at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on July 28.

The band's "Evening With the Eagles" lineup will be: Don Henley (vocals, drums), Glenn Frey (vocals, guitar), Joe Walsh (guitar, vocals) and Timothy B. Schmit (vocals, bass). Don Felder, the guitarist recently fired from the group by Frey and Henley, is bringing a wrongful-termination lawsuit against the two and thus will not be touring with the band.

More U.S. tour dates could be scheduled, according to a spokesperson for the band.

As on the European trek, the four remaining Eagles will be joined by additional musicians.

The European dates extend from a performance in Moscow (the Eagles' first) on May 29 to one in Glasgow, Scotland, on July 22.
