Alan Jackson Leads TNN Country Weekly Awards Noms

Jackson gets eight nods; George Strait, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw follow with seven.

Alan Jackson leads the field for the TNN Country Weekly Music Awards with eight nominations, followed by George Strait, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, who each have seven nominations.

The awards show airs live from Nashville's Gaylord Entertainment Center on TNN on June 13 at 8 p.m. ET. It's the kickoff event for the International Country Music Fan Fair festival, which runs from June 14-17.

Nominations were selected by fan voting, polling of radio industry executives on listeners' requests and data from music industry reporting publications. Final voting begins April 1 via 900 telephone numbers, countryweekly.com and country.com. (Sonicnet.com's parent company, Viacom, also owns TNN and country.com.)
