Ozzfest: Complete Itinerary Announced

Two-month, 26-city trek kicks off in Chicago on June 8.

Metal fans, time to mark up your calendars — the complete itinerary for Ozzfest 2001 has been announced.

Festival headliners Black Sabbath, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Papa Roach, Crazy Town and the rest of Ozzfest’s extended family (see “Black Sabbath Will Headline Ozzfest” ) will begin the two-month, 26-city trek in Chicago on June 8. From there, the roving metalfest tears through the Midwest, West Coast and South before winding up on the East Coast with a final date in Holmdel, New Jersey, on August 12.

Mudvayne, Cold and Taproot will join second-stage headliners Disturbed on a two-sided, revolving stage that allows for nonstop headbanging before the big guns erupt on the main stage (see “Ozzfest’s Second Stage Adds Mudvayne, Taproot, More” ).
