Son Of A P: Lil' Romeo Preps No Limit Debut

Eleven-year-old rapper releasing Soulja Boy on June 5; Lil' Bow Wow duet expected.

The No Limit Records family tree has extended its branches to include CEO Master P's 11-year-old son, Lil' Romeo.

Soulja Boy, Lil' Romeo's debut album, will be released on June 5, according to a spokesperson at No Limit's distributor, Priority Records.

Proving that the bond between lil' rappers transcends the sandbox, Romeo's album is expected to feature an as-yet-untitled duet with fellow grade-school gangsta Lil' Bow Wow.

Jermaine Dupri and No Limit studio veterans Diesel and C-Los Beats contribute their production skills to the LP, and its first single, "My Baby," is a reworking of the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back." Other songs on the effort include "Your ABC's," "The Girlies," "Where They At," "Little Star" and the sentimental "Lil' Soldiers Need Love."

A tour in support of the album is planned to kick off in May, the spokesperson said, which should keep the pint-sized rhymer on the road throughout the summer. The first few dates will likely be weekend shows so that the street-savvy student can finish out his school year.
