David Gray's Lost Songs Found In U.S. Next Month

Acoustic set gets Stateside release April 17, five days after singer/songwriter kicks off North American tour.

David Gray's not waiting for White Ladder to stop its climb on the charts before releasing more material. Lost Songs 95-98, an acoustic set recorded in 1999, will see its first U.S. release on April 17.

Already out in Ireland and England, the disc was up for Best Album at last month's Brit Awards, where it lost out to Coldplay's Parachutes. The disc comes out Stateside five days after Gray kicks off his North American tour in Minneapolis.

White Ladder has gone platinum, largely on the strength of the hit "Babylon." Gray also is set to perform on the "Late Show With David Letterman" on May 2.
