Yo La Tengo Turns "Inside-Out" For New LP, Tour

azzy-pop trio Yo La Tengo will release its tenth studio album, "And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out," on February 22, and the group has just announced dates for a supporting theater tour beginning on February 25 in Washington, D.C.

"And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out" is Yo La Tengo's long-awaited follow-up to 1997's "I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One," a record which "Spin" magazine selected as one of its 90 best albums of the '90s. "Rolling Stone" magazine also named the album as one the essential 150 recordings of the '90s.

For the theatre outing, Yo La Tengo will expand its lineup -- which currently comprises of Georgia Hubley on drums/vocals, Ira Kaplan on guitar/vocals, and James McNew on bass -- to include additional guitarists Mac McCaughan of Superchunk and David Kilgour of New Zealand's The Clean.
