SERENA: In music news, this year’s MTV Video Music Awards’ line-up continues to shape up nicely.
MTV: The Wallflowers announced they’ll grace the Radio City stage on September 4th, as well as show up to see how they fare in their four nominated categories. Jamiroquai, which bested all acts with ten nominations, including Best Video of the Year, will bring a twenty-man band — including a full horn section — to the show for a rare stateside performance. And Puff Daddy and the Family, who, by the way, still have the number one song in the country, will make their VMA performance debut, as well.
SERENA: Those artists will join our previously announced performers, Beck, U2 and The Spice Girls. The 1997 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from New York City’s Radio City Music Hall September 4th.
Catch all the sizzlin’, star-packed VMA action direct from Miami on August 28. MTV News’ preshow kicks things off at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT, followed by big show at 8 p.m.
