March 7 [10:00 EST] -- On Monday, the day before U2's new album "POP" arrived in record stores, we gave several New York City fans copies of the techno-friendly new effort to take home for a critical listen.
They had to return the next day of course, and give us their reviews, which were mixed: some see "POP" as a logical progression from 1993's techno-tinged "Zooropa," others found themselves reaching for the "track skip" button on their CD players at times.
"I just loved it, like, I liked 'Staring at the Sun', it was one of my favorites," says one fan. (QuickTime, 1MB)
