U2 Gets Green Light To Go Home

August 4 [10:00 EDT] --If you're U2, you can come home again after all.

The Associated Press reports that the Irish Supreme Court will allow the band to bring its PopMart extravaganza to Dublin on August 30 and 31.

A few concerned Dubliners were reportedly worried the crowd, and corresponding mess, that a concert of this magnitude might produce. The Irish High Court moved to block the two Dublin shows, slated for Lansdowne Stadium, but the band then appealed to the Supreme Court, which reportedly green lighted the shows on Friday.

The band had already sold $2.9 million worth of tickets for the Dublin shows, so the Supreme Court's decision undoubtedly comes as a great relief to all involved.

U2 probably won't have to jump through any legal hoops when the PopMart tour rolls back to the U.S. this fall. If you want to sample the spectacle, here's where Pollstar says you should look:
