Tricky Talks About Film Debut In Sci-Fi Flick

May 16 [12:00 EST] -- In addition to "Lollapalooza Main Stager," Tricky can also add "actor" to his resume.

The trip hop master made his acting debut in French director Luc Besson's special-effects hit "The Fifth Element."

Tricky plays one of lead bad guy Gary Oldman's henchmen, and here's what he recently told us about the part.

"It was a good experience," Tricky told MTV News of his sci-fi debut. "I got to see Gary Oldman... but, it was hard work. See to me music ain't work. I don't know, it's like eating, but this was work. I hadn't worked for so long [800k QuickTime], since I was like 16, but it was a good experience, a scary experience as well."

If you don't want to spend a summer day in a darkened theater, you can also see Tricky when he joins Julian and Damion Marley, James, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Korn, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Tool, The Prodigy, The Orb, Orbital, and Devo on this year's Lollapalooza line-up.
